This is bamboo, it is groing very fast and so you have a wood of bamboo in no time...

there are some paches of land growing bamboo in Beijing .
some even grow on the side of street .This one is just near a busy street.
It's near sunset when i took this foto .My daughter said it's pity no panda there .My friend in the zoo told me the panda palyed in the mud and no one can tell white from black on their body .LOL .

I will take more when they get greener .lol

it's forbidden to touch to bamboo , let alone to make them wood .LOL
