Ok, so let's take it with a bit of realism... Spending 1000 bucks in a slr definitely did NOT turn in any better photo for the moment. I hope to be able to score an average amount of decent shots in one month, and perhaps in 6 being able to do the same things I did with the FZ-30. The good news is that from there on it is all improvments, but until then I'm like Alice in Dummyland.
Any how toying around with my dad's lenses is already a little satisfaction,
this is from a tamron 28-70 with some consistent macro capability, no autofocus, no "A" on the aperture ring, just me and the glass... and 8 smiling attempts before getting the thing right ;)
