Color Me Blue

Color the night with a black that is true,
And fill in each star with a silvery hue.
Shape a red flower so it's blossoms can grow,
Then make the grass green so it's easy to mow.
A sun-splattered yellow will brighten each day,
Though gray clounds may hover, they soon go away.
Those little pink houses are painted a new,
Their white picket fences are pleasant to view.
Crimson, the sunset, as day comes to end,
And violet is dawning, the new day begins.
Life is a pallette, such color to see,
A sweet splash of beauty but not so for me.
Away with your crayons, you only need one,
Save one simple color and you will be done.
As you draw my picture you'll know that you're through,
If you color me blue ..... when I'm not with you ..........
