This is one GREAT macro of the flower on a chicory plant, one very common "Right Of Way" wildflower here in North Dakota. You made a very sharp focus on this "weed", which I have growing in my native flower bed here at my home ;-)
Lynn...I wouldn't know the difference between a flower and a weed if no body told me either! I think my mom grows both flowers and weeds in her garden (deliberately), but as long as they are pretty, who cares, right? ;-)))))))
Agreed - We shall never use the word "Bokeh" again.
Thanks about the depth of field. You couldn't imagine the angle of how I was standing to get that extra flower in there...Cars driving by must have thought I was nutty or something.

I'm not making this up, but Grimacher has laid face down in muddy puddles before she gets so engrossed in chasing insects.. far be it from me to comment {coff}nutter{coff}..
Beautiful image!
-And now I know what "bokeh" means ;-D
I had never heard the word before, so I looked it up on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh ;-)
