We men are mostly unromantic. I am. My father is. My grandfather was. And I know lots of male examples more. This topic is therefore very difficult for me.

I can remember: if you come to a woman with a bunch of flowers, they're really open for everything. You might want something different, they call it "romantic". So I guess, a tree full of flowers must be the peak of "romantic". But I really don't know, why flowers are connected to this attribute. In fact: I like to see flowers, but I hate to smell them. I'm just too unromantic for this...

It' 4 degrees now, at daytime about 5. The more wind the more cooler feeling... Today it was dry'n'sunny, in the morning foggy, but tomorrow it shall be clowdy. weather radar says: no rain tomorrow. I won't trust forecasts any longer than 1 or 2 days in winter times here. Ah: no S-Bahn. Strike! But the U-Bahn (subway) is still running.

Hmmm, I don't know, I'm quite a romantic guy (given the chance), walking hand in hand in the sunset on a beach, flowers, midnight kisses in the woods, open doors for women, pamper them, I'm a real gentleman.

But then I just get pissed & it all goes out the window :)

kling: sounds like a boring tourist trip. I can recommend dark night clubs! although, sunday night is a bit difficult, there's just the Duncker club. Monday too. And almost nothing at Tuesday. The weekend starts at Thursday here and ends with Sunday morning. :)

I am male and I enjoy romanticism.
Of course, I am also getting on in years, and with each year that I get older, I treasure love and romanticism more.:):)

How can someone like to see flowers but hate to smell them? That's strange, although
for example I don't like coconut but I looooove how it smells...maybe the same thing? ;o)

Maybe it's because I got Asthma and therefore I often have problems with strong smells. And a lot of flowers are smelling strong. Although I'm not allergic...

And the Coconut-Thing: sometimes I love the stuff, sometimes I hate it. And not just depends on mood. There are meals where I can't stand coconut stuff. Most of the Thai restaurants use it, one of the reasons why I don't like Thai food, although I love hot pepper stuff...

Well the problem with asthma ... I know that very well, I'm sitting in the same boat with you. Especially white lily is very bad for me. After a few minutes I can't breath properly.

Roses are really awful. I've been in a night club where they have been smoking. I don't exactly like cigarette smoke, but I can stand it. Cigarettes are almost everywhere. And at some point someone entered the room with some kind of rose parfume onto his body. I had to get off very fast. Even outside I had problems breathing after this kind of lungs-attack...

I agree.. these are those pretty enjoyable moments what other people can't take part of.. actually every person has their own difficulties.. the life is such.. and roses are not the best flowers, it's true!)
