Long story this time. My mum had birthday last month and she likes Paris very much. When we went there this year we made some pictures of this city (here:
http://gallery.dicke-aersche.de/Photo-Alben/003000_Paris%202006/ ) and afterwards I thought: what if I go to some shop and tell ' em: C'mon, I'd like to have a canvas and a frame of this picture. You can find such services a lot at the internet, but you never know if it's ok, if you can see pixels, how sharp it is etc. So I went to bauhaus (
http://www.bauhaus.info/) and although they're a store for "do-it-yourself"-stuff they showed some examples because they have a framing service and now even a canvas-printing service. It lasts almost 2 weeks but it looked perfect and my mum liked it very much (hm, at least I hope so, because she hanged it near the toilet door...). One of those originals you can see here:

It's not the same picture (I didn't posted it anywhere yet), but it's very similar. BTW, I changed it to get my signature in the picture, saved it as a tiff pic and even this was fine to those guys of the service. They did everything fine!
