Some years ago I was playing in a band, Cymone found an old picture of me in the studio while we had been recording our first tape. It's about 12 years ago I'd say. Anyway, that's my first bass you can see here. I stopped plaing in a band about 6 years ago. It was a matter of time, like here while I'm not posting enough pictures (Sorry 'bout that, right now my time's really short)...:(
Tomorrow my current bass (it's a completely black one) will be for sale in some newspapers here. It stood around here unused for so many years, it's useless for me. When I ever start to make music again, I'll do it with my computer...

Yes, you're absolutely right. I even have some concert on video tape and digitalized as MPEG stream. Really funny. Anyway, we've done 2 CDs in "self-burning" attitude and it was a very nice time. I was a student at this time and I really can recommend learning an instrument while studying some technical stuff. I'm a computer engineer now and it was a good idea to use both halfs of the brain and not just the technical half...:)

1. It's a bass, ok, maybe a bass-guitar. :)
2. No way, making music with other people together definitely is costing too much time...:(

what a wonderful photo......my fav...today...
My husband say there are very few real good bass-guitar..players around...
and it so beautiful .....the sound.....I can think that there is more money in
the computerised world....but no time....specially this time of the year..!!!
I am sorry that you want to sell your Bass-guitar.....can you not put it up on the wall somewhere......!! :-))) we like guitar music...!!!

klingklingeling: I was dreaming that day of you and it scared me that much that..., no, obviously not...:) It was a hard work in the studio, we recorded almost 6 hours, and in the end we had about 20 minutes music. For such a hard work it's ok to look like that (Udos am Rande des Nervenzusammenbruchs). But: it also was fun, I think a funny look might be appropriate too. :)))

LizSA: thankx for your fave, although this is just a scanned and afterwards sharpened image. Maybe in the small size it looks quite ok, but when you see the big version you'll find lots of noise and unsharpnesses etc.
The bass guitar: yes, I like guitar music too, that was the reason for playing it. And I don't think, I've been a good bass player. Anyway, with today's computer equipment you can do much more things than just tekkno or rock or punk, you simply can connect all that stuff. I always think about a song full of instruments like farts or belchs. You can really give them octaves and you can play with that. I think it should be possible that afterwards no one notices what kind of "instruments" had been used...:)
But as always: not enough time, and: I seldom have music ideas.

Oh my......what a way to say what you think of all the instruments....
Yes...but true.......
even a church choir sounds better without a organ...because normally the
organ sound is so loud you cannot hear the beautiful different voices...
I love to listen to the alto's...I always think the alt and the basses makes a choir......well a choir is a choir...but I listen specially for the alto's and the basses...oohhh well....music....now you also know..what kind of music I like..
yes...but i do not like the Gaithers..too much...because sometimes it is also too loud...some of their songs are nice...but not all...!! OOhhh...now I stepped right into it...!!! even worse than your f..... and Belchs...:-)))))))

Very "German-like" face, uwp!:)) As you say, a show. But about bass, you know that these are incomparable things, to make music with computer or with instrument, it is almost as impossible like to eat a delicious meal through tv screen. But i wish you luck and i understand, you can always get some kind of instrument when you need it, whether from some friend or music store.
And, happy Christmas to you.

" Happy Christmas and New beautiful year “

Ivojass: Yeah, electronic music always is different, even though it sometimes sounds like the real one. Anyway, making the real stuff costs too much time, I'll have to stay with my computer stuff. BTW, on the new pics you can see the bass guitar I try to sell now.

Andof course: merry x-mas to you! :)

Yes, it did in the past. Best gig of all was in a club, where we were standing on the stage on floor 2, while the audience was looking up from floor one in an old trashed house where parts of the floors had been destroyed, so you can watch through the whole building from bottom to the top.
