For uploading this panorama (27 megapixels in the "view original" version) I had to go down to 14% JPEG quality to get below the 1 MB barrier. So please forgive me the bad quality in full size.

BTW, it's Playa Las Canteras, the big beach at the main city of Gran Canaria: Las Palmas. It's a big and really nice beach, it's clean, and you can choose between bigger or smaller waves, it depends at which part of the beach you're entering the water. I really like this beach. And the island too, of course!
