Friendlies Three O'Clock

An escort appears out of nowhere close to an international frontier not far from the final destination.
A high flyer with its blades out is seen off the starboard wing. The escort appears without match box, chevrons or shadracks in this special domestic version. Identifying bandits and friendlies in the night sky even the day sky at the edges of the heavily populated world can be difficult.

Yeah it is. I heard a story once about a Lear Jet that came close to a passenger aircraft and the owner at a window next to the wing, leered at people at the windowing of the commercial aircraft, close to an airport. I think he probably got a traffic ticket for that.

thats a well timed capture as that would have been travelling at some mad speed

The aircraft in question, I assume you mean the smaller of the two, actually has a rather wide span in its range of velocity because of the wing design. The leading edge of the wing doesn't have a fixed pitch.
