now i see the danger of falling then the ocean bashing you up against the rocks in the pitch black of night. lucky for the light eh.
I do not think this was a lighthouse. I don't know the history of this castle. I think this was used as a lookout against foreign invaders. At the moment it is under severe pressure from coastal erosion - we have had some severe storms this winter. I took this photo today and I will upload some more just to show how dangerous the area around the castle is.
