This is Lake Sutton which is close to Middlemarch, Central Otago, New Zealand.
To get to here there is an hour hike for the round trip. At least that is what it says on the sign. When you are wanting to take photos with a couple others and awe struck with the views and enjoying the company and a camera in hand it is more like 3 hours.
I have to say the walk is simply amazing and well worth the effort to get here.
