I have been trying to decide what would be a good photo seeing this is number 1000. After looking at several candidates I decided on this one.
This station "Wingatui" is within walking distance from my home. I have previously posted photos of its beautiful station so thought it fitting to post one with this magnificent train. Ironically as I type this I can here a train there now tooting and rumbling along.

Isn't it great just seeing the picture brings back the noise, hustle and bustle of the people operating the train. You can hear the whistle blowing, guard yelling, all aboard. We oldies Shirley know about these things, he he .
