Well, now the new years eve is over.... and the real life is getting closer again.
This sad example illustrates the fragility of life:
Today my son found this creature, a roe deer not far from our house. Examination established the fact that it had fractured its right backleg, just above the hoof, and that this wound was old. Further; the back was torn up with quite fresh blood in the wound; maybe by a dog..... So the animal has been walking around on tree legs for a while, maybe some days before the nature ruled it out... this time in a harsh way !

A painful death it must have been....but now the peace has come...
So dog- owners; watch your dog....
