The nearest I get to dawn these days is when we are on holiday. This is a seagul on the hotel windowledge...at Eastbourne years ago....on a dancing holiday in 1999 he came each morning as soon as the light was in the sky...for a tit bit

This was taken years ago well before digital, and is scanned from an old photograph.. Yes with flash...Olympus camera

James this was taken years ago, well before digital....When you had to take lots of photographs to get a good one, have them printed and then throw half away...Scanned it to my computer...
