This is an old photograph of our lovely village of Wilford taken in the 1800's. Nothing very much has changed in all that time, we are still a pretty village. The old school is still in use, roads have been adopted and we now have cars rather than horse and carts and the flood bank has been raised..so safe from flooding.A few more houses have appeared...but it is still quiet and beautiful.

Joan...its so pleasing to hear that the village has remained unchanged.....so many of our towns have allowed neon signs and billboards to appear......my little school that I attended has been torn down and now we have a bank in it's place.....
