I took this on 14th August 1962 (when I was just 16!) It's a DC3 of Martins Air Charter at Squires Gate Airport, Blackpool, UK.
(I have uploaded this before a few years ago but ander's excellent photo of two similar aircraft prompted me to show it again!
Amazing (and beautiful) aircraft...They just seem to go on forever!
They served in WW2, who would have thought we would still be seeing them in service in 2011!

a great shot of this oldtimer !! ... the DDA ( Dutch Dakota Association ) have a DC3 flying in MAC colors !!

Thanks Hans. It's nice to know that they have a DC3 in MAC colours too! I remember when I was young we used to see DC3's in service with several airlines at Birmingham (Elmdon) including BEA and Dan Air (London).
