In the lovely village of Flixton where I live we are surrounded by the Manchester Ship Canal on one side & the River Mersey on the other, yesterday the Mersey broke it's banks & flooded vast areas .

This is usually a field & not a lake.

Whilst taking these pictures 2 policemen stopped to ask what I was doing, I looked at the camera in my hand then looked at them.

I sarcastically replied "I'm doing research into stupid questions"

They took my camera off me, looked at what pictures I had taken then returned my camera to me.

2nd time in a week that I've come across idiots in blue.

I was going to take a picture of the policemen but one of them turned round & said "don't even think about it"

But I did anyway when they weren't looking but it turned out pretty crap :)
