Beautiful. You have the camera now, the ability to use your eye, and the scenery to die for. I have made you a friend and will watch with interest especially the lens performance. Did you have to buy the kit lens, or could you buy the body and lens seperate. Or was this the kit lens. Thanks for the pictures.

i bought the body and the lens seperate £600 for camera and £260 for lens

That is interesting, means the sigma will sell for about $AUS700-800 dollars. In Australia we have to pay a premium for Canon and Nikon because we are such a small market those companies use importers who add on 25%.
