This is my desk at work, I am a health information management professional. I go through the medical charts after discharge and put codes to the diagnoses, treatments and procedures that I find in the visit. This information is sent to the Canadian Health Information Management Association and it is used for many things, among which your statistics on health risks, hospital needs, and financial calculations. I love my job! :)
