That's because you are actually looking at pics of two islands belonging to the same archipelago called Madeira: The archipelago is formed by two groups of smaller islands which are natural reserves (The Desertas and the Selvagens) plus the two bigger and inhabited islands (Madeira and Porto Santo) which are actually the ones most depicted here. Madeira island is the biggest and most important (hence having given its name to the entire archipelago) and it is very green, lush, has lots of water, while Porto santo island, is quite smaller, dry and sandy, perfect for beach summer holidays ;)))) Glad you enjoy my pictures.
