This is St. Kevin's Tower, in Glendalough, (glen of the 2 lakes).
Built in the 6th century, this is one of the most important and visually beautiful examples of early Christianity in Ireland.
There is a wealth of stories and folklore surrounding this incredible site in the Wicklow Mountains.....very beautiful.
Now, that I have posted this,....it is only fair to show some more of the lakes and amazing view around this majestic countryside.

This is so lovely...it looks like the sun bounced off the tower and gave a nice glow to the beautiful colored trees especially the orange leaf tree.
This is really very well composed... Leaving a bit of the blue sky in the photo shows a nice angled area.
