A Hindu- Gothic gate lodge, originally built with timber and paper machè to greet the owner of the Dromana Estate in Villierstown near the county Waterford and county Cork border, Henry Villiers-Stuart and his wife Thersia Pauline Ott of Vienna on returning from their honeymoon in 1826. The couple were so enchanted with it that they had it reconstructed with more durable materials.

Ha ha yes Midworlder, unsurprisingly, it is the only bridge of it's kind in Ireland.

I was pleasantly surprised to have stumbled upon this myself. Got some nice shots from the other side too, i must put up later. Amazing history about this area that i never knew about either.
