Just born Boletus luridiformis - Dotted Stem Bolete - Heksenboleet
Netherlands, Bussum, Spanderswoud, Aug. 2011

Abojovna observed that the Boletus satanas (Devil's bolete or Satan's mushroom) is very much alike. Here a few links where images of both mushrooms can be found:

I don't know for sure Claudia, they look very much the same, so it may well be the Boletus satanas (Devil's bolete or Satan's mushroom). But according to my guide the cap of young Satan's mushrooms is more grey than brown and less common than the Boletus luridiformis. But I will add a note in the caption.
Thanks for your interest!

It´s not boletus satanas. But it´s one from boletus family!

Beautiful specimen of Boletus.
It could be a Boletus erythropus.
Good edible after cooking. The color changes to blue, which is why it can be confused with Boletus satanas (Poison).
