As to fractals, at internet you can find a lot of software packages for creating fractals, many of them are free. Tierazon, which is my favourite fractal tool, used to be free, but they are now selling it. If you want I can try to send you the version I downloaded a few years ago. Try, because I sent it once to SuperJoan and she wrote me that it did work on her PC, but I think that Lynnj04 did not get it to work.
