Marijke, officially it is the Petrus and Paulus Church in the Kalverstraat (nr.58). At the end of the 17the century the family Bout was living here and founded a clandistine or house church. You could find this type of catholic churches in various houses in Amsterdam after the Alteration of 1578. In popular speech the church in the Kalverstraat is called the Papegaai.
