This brings back memories. We were in Thialand in 1989. Got to ride on an Elephant, and saw how they remove the downed trees from the wilderness. They are magnificant creatures

Yes we did Poulet and Larry.
Later this week I will upload a pictures showing the other members of our group riding on "their" elephant. I took these pictures from the uncomfortable "chair" shown above.
I already scant the negatives, but I have to clean them a bit. My scanner "sees" every dust speck and I can only partly remove them by despeckle software.

Yes Roncarlin, we too watched a show where elephants moved big truncs without any effort. Unfortunately, I run out of film and have no pictures of that impressive show!
