Heather, we were in Bryce only for an afternoon and we got the impression that the colours were really changing with the hours. I think that with morning light you see again different colours. Also when look at the photos of Midwolder and SuperJoan, you see quite different palettes of colours!
Thank you for the reference to midworlder and superjoan. It's surprising to see how much light plays in each photo taken. Nature's paintbrush! Often I'm out driving along and want to take a photo, so I go to the trouble of turning around, only to find once I have done this and get into position, that the light has changed and no longer will I have the picture I wanted in the first place - often just saying, "Oh, the light changed" *sigh* So I leave without taking the shot. Great job on this photo. Such contrasts in nature to see majestic rock scape with tall pines growing amongst them.
