Claudia, it is like a fractal indeed, but then, the whole fractal business is just mathematical modelling of processes going on in nature!

I don't think so Will. In fact, I was surprised that this coot did not notice these bright sunlight reflections. My camera was almost "blinded" by the "reflected sun fractals"!
