Today I saw a few beautiful creations by Abojovna (http://www.fotothing.com/abojovna/photo/212dc27be5944c484785478556e554b0/ and following pictures). She mentioned GIMP and so I downloaded the GIMP software to play with. I started with a recursive swan picture.
