A super nice photo Peter. A slower cart ride may have been more comfortable and offered opportunities for a steadier photo. You could just hop off, shoot a photo and run to catch up with the cart before it got too far down the road. Even better, a bicycle ride like you do in your country.

In India we call this type of cart Tonga.Though once this was in abundance in Delhi,Agra,Lucknow etc,nowadays it has become few because 1) it is slow & 2) the maintenance cost of a horse is too high.However,as larrybenedict commented" A slower cart ride may have been more comfortable and offered opportunities for a steadier photo",is true.

This cart and a bicycle would be far too slow to visit the villages of the island Larry. They are quite widely separated!
