Last year I got the SIM title in Correspondence Chess. Last Saturday I received in Amsterdam the official documents and the medal which go with the title.
I am proud and vain enough to show the medal.

You should be proud! Congratulations! I've never had the patience to learn chess, so I'm very impressed....so much concentration involved.

I did already post a selfportrait at this site together with a even greater passion than my chess hobby, viz. our Bernese Senna. She was my alter ego!

Thank you so much Karl. Yes, I do know, the Islandic chess opponents have quite a reputation! At the moment I am playing Icecross, one of your country men, who is playing at SNC (Stans Net Chess) with this nick name. A very tough opponent!!
