Kawtgoon Caves with 7th century artwork
Myanmar (Burma), Mawlamyine-Yangon, March 2012

The Kawtgoon Cave is a natural lime stone cave and measures 200fts height and 300 fts length. It is famous for its numerous Buddha Images.

Gunter, the greater part of the many Buddha images in the Kawtgoon Cave show the "Earth Witness" position. In fact, in the whole of Burma we mainly saw this hand position of the Buddhas!
