Ik ben dol op die plant met grote bladeren.
Ik heb laatst op de bloemenmarkt 3 bollen ervan gekocht en 1 geplant.
Hij groeit als kool.
Ik heb een paar maanden in Brazilie gewoont en toen hadden we ze ook op ons balkon.
Het groeit daar bijna zo snel dat er per dag een groot blad bij komt!

Charlotte, deze foto heb ik in een aparte broeikas van de Hortus genomen, het was daar tropisch, zeker over de 30 graden. Heb je dan ook zo'n warme (en vochtige) plek in je huis?

btw, we call it ADAM in serbian .. but ... you can find it in english as ( SOMETHING ) ELEPHANT EAR

that SOMETHING depends on subfamily
( for example : amazon elephant ear )

this one on your photo is NOT that subspecies ...

forgot to tell you, there is a sort of pepper that some people call the same ... elephant ear ...
that is not what was on my mind, of course ... :-)
