Love this - capturing the colours and the layers of the rock - very easy to lose one or the other in this kind of light. You've been to some great places!
I must confess that only recently I try to analyse beforehand the circumstances to get a good photograph. In the past I just made pictures as a support for our memory!
Magnificent shot. Now your going to shame us all into giving thought to a photographic result before we "pull the trigger". All that GREEN.....was it in the plan or in "PhotoShop". ........ confess!

At the time, I still had a nondigital camera with films and sometimes I left a finished film in the car and forgot about it. And then the Italian sun ...
I do not have PhotoShop. I think it is too advanced for me, but early January I got Helicon Filter (free version from internet) and that is just what I need, very easy to use!! With this software I "repaired" two pictures which also got a comment that the colours were a bit unnatural. These "wrong" pictures are

I will also try to repair the above picture. Please do not hesitate to inform me when you think that the colours in my pictures prior to 2004 are dubious (until 2004 I used a nondigital camera and have scanned the negatives).
