it is a lovely dog Senna...... Spikkel....
there are two of them in our street here by my daughters house...
different houses.... the one is Sam (my)... the other Reagan.....
and they are so very friendly.... when Marten and I walk they always want to
say hallo to us....and then the whole body will wiggle .. so very happy to share
pats and licks with us....:-)))

We too had two Caveliers. I remember that we had promised our eldest daughter a dog when she passed her swimming exam. She did pass it, but then we realized that our second daughter had already for a long time wished to have a cat. My wife was (at the time) not very fond of cats. So we decided to buy two dogs, Spikkel and Sproet.

thankyou senna... I remember a while back you had a photo of a white dog...
the speciall breed that you could keep even if you are allergic to pets...
my daughter does not want a dog... and when I told my son in law, he wanted to
know the breed......... :) is it a dog in your family...!

Yes Liz, that white dog belongs to our second daughter, the one who wanted a cat ( http://www.fotothing.com/senna3/photo/bc4f722d2f7d03acbee2f03577b9ad54/ ). It is a Goldendoodle, a crossbred between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldendoodle ).

and she also have a cat now...?? :-) thankyou for the info Senna...

as a real cat lover... I do not blame anybody not being a BIG cat person not to have
a cat at home.... they are rather cruel when they hunt.... and it is always the
mother of the house that have to clean up...:(
therefore... yes... dogs are better...:)
