Mafalda, I think I made a note of the parameters of the source fractal. If so, I will search for the place in that fractal where I zoomed in to get the above subfractal. Next. I hope I can change the colour control parameters such that the green leaf becomes red!

I like the word you used in your comment: "Spanderswoud" I wonder how that translates into English? It's fairly obvious what it means, but my wondering is about the Spander....is that just a name for the wood(s)?

That is right Larry, Spanderswoud is a small "woud"= forest (214 hectare) close to the place where we live. I could not find the origin of Spander. There is also an estate called Spanderswoud, close to this forest, but I have no documentation on the history of this estate.
