....dear Senna3 it seems me this is the rosace of Notre Dame de Paris...it cannot be the Louvre.....?!!!

Patrick, we visited that day the Louvre and also the Notre Dame indeed, so you may be right.
On the other hand, William posted a picture of a glass window of the Notre Dame (http://www.fotothing.com/william22/photo/fa5a0a71fe312e38d5c997443e7535df/) and that window is quite similar but definitely not the same (count the rectangular decorations beneath the the rosette!). So I am still a bit in doubt.

Hello Bea, that is very nice. Perhaps you can help Patrick (PaP67) and me to find out whether my picture was taken in the Notre Dame or the Louvre. Could you post your picture for comparison?
