The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal châteaux. It was already used in the latter part of the 12th century by King Louis VII.

I waited in vain for the two tourists to leave, but they were too busy to inspect their photos on the camera. But you are right, afterall, it is not too bad to have them included in the picture!

We were impressed too Larry. I made a lot of pictures of this palace complex, carefully avoiding the scaffolds at several places. So it seems that there is a continuous restoration going on!
