The last time I saw a similar sign, was in Oklahoma City in 1962. Under the Rooster, were the words: "Cock of the Walk" which is an expression used here to describe a person who thinks they are 'a lady's man' in an arrogant sort of way. The establishment was a bar "pub" I think.(?) Thanks for the trip back in time.
