This is my first contribution to Pea's HDR Club. The original photo was quite dull. Motivated by recent HDR images of Peter and Sylvia I tried to make it more vivid using HDR software.
The Seven Pillars of Wisdom is a large rock formation in Wadi Rum, named after the book of Thomas Edward Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). This book is an autobiographical account of his experiences as a British soldier. He was renowned especially for his liaison role during the Arab Revolt of 1916-18:
