We have these in The Bahamas… they are called century plants here. Nice capture.

Thank you Wifey. Near Tempe and Phoenix we visited a part of the desert where they had collected a large number of different desert plants, but no names! So I am glad that you recognize this particular plant. Do you mind when I add century plant in the description for this picture?
