The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal ch�teaux. It was already used in the latter part of the 12th century by King Louis VII.

We were impressed too Larry. I made a lot of pictures of this palace complex, carefully avoiding the scaffolds at several places. So it seems that there is a continuous restoration going on!
