Barbara and Sylvia, the bird is seagull indeed, photographed in Marina del Rey (CA.) and the mountain landscape is in Vietnam (near Langchai) where we watched a big fire.

That is right Paulina, a seagull from Marna del Rey. I didn't have an appropriate picture of a heron-like bird as the Egyptians did consider the origin of the phoenix.
