Nancy, it is some beauty cream made of Tanaka wood. It also protects the skin against the fierse Burmese sun. Most women in Burma use it.

Yes Soumen, like all Asian countries tea is offered everywhere as a sign of hospitality. An art of living the western world has either lost or still has to master!
