Red carpet welcome to this great historic building
in the background .. The ancient (church?), the new
(vibrant red flowers) and the ugly (centre bare cultivation)

I find it amusing that you think a 100-year- old church is relatively new (your comment to Losp) In my country, and perhaps in Malaysia as well....this would be considered old. Our sense of history can not be compared to that of the Netherlands.....contrasted perhaps! It's a wonderful photo Peter.
