Mlv, in the Netherlands it has become very expensive to have a thatched roof. First of all, there are not many reed thatchers anymore and insurance is quite high!

so nice! i was in Grou and my friends has a farm and a house as this one! I was live there for 3 weeks last year and was so nice! i love this kind of house! Are so nice!!!!

Marijke, Ik heb niet aangetekend waar dit vandaan komt, maar het zou best Groningen kunnen zijn!

dit lijkt meer op drents huisje, hier zijn het van oudsher meestal pannendaken :)
maar er staan geloof ik in Arnhem bijvoorbeeld wel groningse huisjes....:)
