Astoria Bridge: Conde McCullough was the artistic engineer who designed all of the major bridges along the Oregon Coast in the post-Depression years. The Astoria Bridge, his longest, connects Oregon with Washington State near the mouth of the Columbia River.
Thanks, Peter, one of my minor ambitions is to make HDR images of all his bridges (I have three so far). This HDR did not translate to the server as well as I would have liked (tho the jpeg's seem to look great on my computer!) but it will have to do. That white stuff on the concrete is ice, if you remember!
