Looks like you might be making a torch with a luxeon Light Emitting Diode? 1-7 watts?

I have seen maglites being used with 12 volt 100 watt bulbs and using lithium batteries to power them.

I am using a Cree Led quad emitter MCE,about 400 lumens.

FT1
