Group of flagellants finally reached their destination as their final vow of penitence. They've been whipping the wound on their back with bamboo sticks bind together at the end of a rope while walking for a couple of kilometers. This is one of Catholic traditions being done on lenten season in some of the provinces in the Philippines.

	Mar 26 2008 03:27 GMT remola Thanks Bluesky! This was taken in Bgy. Kutod, San Fernando, Pampanga. It's a regular occurance every Lenten season especially on Good Friday. That particular place is where three-cross were erected wherein 19 were nailed on both palms and feet to the cross one-by-one.
