My grandmother and me. She turned 95 the day I arrived back in Amsterdam (nobody told her I was returning. she loved the surprise).

Last week she had a stroke (the third in 6 months). When she came around the first thing she did was asking for a cup of tea :o) The next day she was already sitting in the garden listinening to some live music and clapping in her hands. She is amazing: as strong as an ox and gifted with an incredible spirit.
